Here’s how this website handles the information you choose to share.
Messages to the Friends
When you submit an inquiry, your name, email address, message, and any optional details are used to respond and coordinate your request. Submitting a message does not subscribe you to a mailing list.
Giving and volunteering
Membership and donation buttons take you to Givebutter, which handles those transactions under its own privacy policy. Library volunteer paperwork and opportunities are handled by Kingsport Public Library and Volunteer United. Please review those services’ policies when you visit.
Website services
Messages are emailed to the Friends or the Book Fair team. This website does not keep a separate database of inquiry messages. Our hosting and email providers process requests and may retain service logs; recipients retain the emails needed to handle your inquiry.
To limit spam, the server temporarily records submission times against a keyed identifier derived from your network address. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives the network information needed to serve them. We have not added advertising or visitor analytics.
